Klipsch has launched the ProMedia 2.1 wireless THX-certified speakers that are designed for use with a notebook. The Klipsch speaker system consists of two satellite speakers and one subwoofer. The subwoofer draws its power from a wall outlet, while the two satellite speakers are connected to the subwoofer with wires. What makes the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 interesting is that it connects to the notebook via wireless connection, so you can place these satellite speakers and a subwoofer 30-feet away from the PC. All you have to do is to plug its USB wireless transmitter into the notebook’s USB port. If you are interested, you can buy the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers for $150 a set. This speaker system is only available from the Klipsch website, and only in the U.S.
