The MCR-140 and MCR-040 are two newest Yamaha mini audio systems that support iPhones and iPods. The Yamaha MCR-140 enables you to play your favorite music wirelessly from an iPod thanks to Yamaha’s proprietary yAired standard. However, the Yamaha MCR-040 lacks of this wireless feature. Both mini audio systems support two 4-inch detachable drivers rated at 15W each, a CD player, a front panel USB port, an FM radio and auxiliary audio jack inputs. There is also an optional wireless subwoofer kit for the MCR-140 allowing for better bass delivery. Available in orange, dark blue, light blue, white, red, dark green, brown, light gray, dark gray and pink, the Yamaha MCR-140 and MCR-040 price are $400 and $280, respectively.

Panasonic has made a public release about their latest iPod docks from their D-Dock series. Named Panasonic SC-HC4 and HC3, the slim iPod docking station features a digital amplifier delivering 20 Watts × 2 channels output, an AM/FM tuner, a CD player and a SD card slot (SC-HC4 only). The iPod docks equips with speakers that are made of a high quality Bamboo fiber material to make it lightweight and generates deep sound. The Panasonic SC-HC4 will be available in silver, pink and black for 40,000 Yen ($450) and the Panasonic SC-HC3 will be available in silver for 35,000 Yen ($400). In addition, the Panasonic SC-HC4 model is able to rip any CDs into SD or SDHC cards at a speed up to 8x.

This iPod speaker is definitely for those who love listening to music loudly. Wall of Sound (WOS) speaker by Brothers is the biggest and the heaviest iPod speaker in the market so far. Maybe ever. It’s also the most powerful speaker of all time. Weighing 102 kilos, the speaker features 28 elements, an iPod docking station, and a frequency response of 40Hz – 20,00kHz. Each unit is hand made and the second generation model is currently available for pre-order. The Wall of Sound (WOS) speaker by Brothers is priced from $4,495.

Revo Technologies has launched a retro-style multi-format table digital radio. The new gadget named Revo HERITAGE, slides as classic European table radio designs from the 50’s and 60’s decades.

The digital radio has an OLED display and has other function as docking station for all current iPod models. The HERITAGE also sports DAB, DAB+, FM tuner, Wi-Fi internet radio, and wireless audio streaming. Each purchase of the HERITAGE comes with a free 30-day trial access to online music service Last.fm, where there are over 5 million tracks to choose from. Thereafter, if you would like to continue using the service, a £3.00 ($6) per month subscription charge would apply. The Revo HERITAGE digital radio will be available next month in the UK for £229.95 ($375).

Pioneer launches their bookshelf-sized speakers today coded XW XW-NAS3 and XW-NAS5. Both speakers models are claimed to generate a 2.1-channel and a digital 60W output. These speakers comes equipped with Bluetooth connectivity to get connected to your iPod Touch and iPhone. Available in black and red for Pioneer XW-NAS5 while Pioneer XW-NAS3 is available only in white. Pricing information is not available yet.
