Asus EeeBox EB1501 Nettop will at last be available for US market in December after being introduced in October. This space-saving computer offers a 1.6GHz Intel Atom dual-core 330 processor, a NVIDIA ION chipset, an integrated GeForce 9400M graphics card, up to 4 GB RAM, a 250 GB HDD, a slot-in writer, a 2-in-1 card reader, WiFi, Windows 7 Home Premium OS and comes with several connectivity ports including Gigabit Ethernet, D-Sub, eSATA, HDMI and six USB. The Asus EeeBox EB1501 will go on sale in the US starting on December 7th for $479.

Iceotope has successfully developed a new way to reduce the heat in high density server computers. The company boasts that this new technology will decrease server cooling costs by 93%, or if you were cooling 1,000 servers, you will save for around $788,400 in three years. The Iceotope system immerses each server motherboard in a bath of inert coolant, which is circulated via a pump at the back of the server rack. Iceotope will give the demo of this new technology at Supercomputing 2009 in Portland, Oregon.

Asus has introduced their latest Home Server which is targeted towards modern home and small office users. Called as Asus TS Mini, the server is equipped with an Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz processor, up to 2 GB RAM, an optional 500 GB or 2 TB HD, six USB 2.0 ports, two eSATA ports, Gigabit Ethernet and operates on Windows Home Server OS. Other advanced features include the ability to automatically back up data from up to 10 computers (daily) and stream photos, music, video and other digital content to various devices including TVs, computers, Media PCs, and gaming consoles. The TS Mini is now available for pre-order via Amazon for $349.99 (500 GB) and $529.99 (2 TB), respectively.
