ViewSonic today released its VPD400 MovieBook that has a 4.3-inch display, a 8 GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot and up to 6-hours of video playback or 12-hours of music playback. The movie gadget supports media file formats as complete as AVI, MKV, FLV, MPG, MOV, MPG, VOB, RM/RMVB, H.264, MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC and DTS/AC3. The ViewSonic VPD400 MovieBook price is $129.99.

If the prospect of spending $200 on a GPS add on for your iPhone or iPod Touch has you little shaken, don’t panic, for there is another solution. Dual Electronics XGPS300 GPS Cradle for the iPod Touch will be arriving in stores later this month.

For $179.99 it not only adds GPS to your iPod Touch but includes NavAtlas’ turn-by-turn navigation app, a rechargeable battery, speaker, audio out, mini USB port and windshield cradle. The app itself is free and available at the iTunes app store. But before you rush off to download it, note that the application works exclusively with Dual Electronics’ cradle. Or you could just hope and pray that Google releases their free nav app to the iPhone and some how Apple approves it.

Vestax today inroduced the Spin, which is a music mixer for the Mac. Measuring 14-inch x 9.5-inch x 1.5-inch and weighing 3.2 lbs, the gadget is actually a combination of a DJ control surface, an audio interface and a DJ software. The Spin music mixer connects to the MacBook or MacBook Pro via USB port letting you to pick songs from the iTunes library.
