The Blackberry Bold gets a nice upgrade with the newer Bold 9700 model which is expected to be released by next month. If last month’s Blackberry Curve 8520 doesn’t meet for your needs, the Blackberry Bold 9700 might do it.

No indication what processing power is inside but it could be the same as the BB Bold 9000 at 624 MHz.

The main difference between this one and the older version is that RIM has replaced the problematic trackball navigation with an optical trackpad.
