Samsung S5150 Olivia and S7070 for Girls

The Samsung S5150 Olivia and S7070 are two new mobile phones from the Korean’s “Diva” mobile phone series that are specially made for girls. The S5150 (codenamed Olivia) is a clamshell handset with a small external display in the front beneath the mirror-like body. The cell phone sports a 2.2-inch QVGA display, a 3 MP digital camera, a microSD card slot, a music player, and Bluetooth. Meanwhile, the Samsung S7070 full-touchscreen handset offers a 3-inch WQVGA resistive touchscreen, a 5 MP camera, Bluetooth, a microSD card slot and an FM Radio. Both cell phones are expected to hit retail shelves in Q1 2010.

The company boasts that this new technology will decrease server cooling costs by 93%, or if you were cooling 1,000 servers, you will save for around $788,400 in three years. The Iceotope system immerses each server motherboard in a bath of inert coolant, which is circulated via a pump at the back of the server rack. Iceotope will give the demo of this new technology at Supercomputing 2009 in Portland, Oregon.

This portable projector utilities Digital Light Processing Technology to generate sharp 480 x 320 resolution with a 1000:1 contrast ratio and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The iPod Video Projector also features a manual focus dial, an adjustable volume control for its 1/2-watt internal speaker, and a headphone jack. Its rechargeable battery provides up to two hours of viewing time and can be recharged using the included AC adapter or a USB port.
